What we collect
We collect account information needed to sign you in, the job applications and documents you choose to store, and limited operational data needed to provide and secure the service.
Google and Gmail data
If you connect Gmail, StrongerApplicant requests read-only Gmail access. We scan recent application-related messages to suggest updates to jobs already in your tracker. We do not send email, modify messages, delete messages, or access your contacts. A limited amount of message text is analyzed transiently to recognize recruiting updates and match them to an application; full message bodies are not stored.
Pending suggestions may temporarily contain the sender, subject, a short snippet, and authentication signals used to help you evaluate the update. When you accept, dismiss, or clear a suggestion, that email-derived content is deleted. Accepted updates retain only a content-free application event. A one-way message identifier may be retained for up to 90 days to prevent duplicate suggestions.
Gmail refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and are revoked and deleted when you disconnect Gmail. Google user data is used only to provide the inbox-update feature you request and is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.
How data is protected
We use encrypted transport, server-side token encryption, row-level database access controls, short-lived OAuth state, and least-privilege permissions. No security system is perfect, but we limit retained data and access wherever practical.
Service providers
We use infrastructure and authentication providers, including Supabase, Vercel, and Google, to operate the service. They process data only as needed to provide their services and under their own privacy and security terms.
Your choices
You can reject or clear inbox suggestions, disconnect Gmail at any time, and request deletion of your account data. Disconnecting Gmail removes the stored connection, pending suggestions, OAuth state, and duplicate-prevention records associated with the connection.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update the date above and provide an in-product notice when a change materially affects how data is handled.
